I’m a bit tardy with this post, since we actually have a few weeks of 2011 racing under our belts now…but I’m still jazzed!  The Tour de Tuscaloosa was a fun, if not nerve-racking debut for me this year.  My first race back after a broken collar bone consisted of a technical crit in the RAIN.  Nice!  Then to put icing on the cake, at the Sunny King crit this past weekend, I managed to crash when the girls immediately in front of me tangled at 23mph and went down.  I’m a bit bruised and banged up today, but no worse for the wear.  I would actually go so far as to say that crash was a positive experience for me, proving to me that going down does not equal broken bones.  Looking forward to riding with my favorite Chics again this weekend in Dahlonega, GA.
