Personal Note: When you see a beginner cyclist walking up a hill, what is your first thought? Hopefully it’s sympathy—which is what my husband felt for me after he stopped laughing. That was my introduction into the world of cycling, and I fell in love with the sport shortly thereafter. In my early days of cycling, my hope and goal was to complete a 30-mile ride and not fall over at the rest stop while being clipped in. After a few years of cycling, I decided to race. During my first race, I felt all the same emotions that I felt on my first ride…pain, agony, fear, uncertainty. And I loved every minute of it. Although I don’t walk up hills these days, I’ll never forget how it all started and never dreamed I would be part of a cycling team.

 Team Belladium (especially Todd) has pushed me far beyond my physical and mental expectations. I consider it a blessing and privilege to race with a group of caring, compassionate and FAST women.
